Let’s Go Freediving in Cozumel!
Freediving in Cozumel is now available from boats! Join on our regularly scheduled scuba boats to experience freediving on the best reefs of Cozumel.
Please note if you are not currently a certified scuba diver, the excursions listed on this page are not for you. Please check out our Try Freediving program or our Freediving Level 1 certification program for options available to you.
We provide the following services to our Freediving Guests
- Pick-up downtown from over 30 available piers
- All diving is done within the Marine Park (unless otherwise agreed upon)
- (2) – 1 hour boat dives morning or afternoon
- Expert staff above water – All of our Captains are Cozumel natives with 20+ years each working on boats
- Expert staff at the surface – Freediving Divemasters accompany you to ensure safety
- 60-70 minute minute surface interval between dive locations on private beach, beach club, or restaurant (weather permitting)
- Surface buoy with depth-marked line and bottom stop
- Microfiber towel for use on board the boat
- Cold water, fresh fruit, snacks on board the boat
- Shared dry bag available
- Cleaning and overnight storage of personal gear if you are diving multiple days
- Rental gear is not included but is available for an additional $20 fee.

Typical Morning Schedule:
8:00am Boat departs from the marina
9:00am – 10:00am First dive
10:00am – 11:00am Surface Interval
11:00am – 12:00pm Second dive
12:30pm Return to harbor
$90 Afternoon Boat

Typical Afternoon Schedule:
1:30pm Departure
2:30pm – 3:30pm First dive
3:30pm – 4:30pm Surface Interval
4:30am – 5:30pm Second dive
6:00pm – Return to harbor
