Why Choose Salty Endeavors for Your Divemaster Intership?

Our Divemaster Internship is very different from any other course you have done before. In all diving courses, you must meet some theoretical and practical requirements to get your certification. However, in our Divemaster program, we go further.

We will not only teach you the theory and practice that the course requires, but you will also learn how it is working in a dive center. You will be able to see how to prepare a diving tour, how the logistics part works, and you will learn to solve real problems with real customers. In other words, a complete Divemaster Internship.

With a combined teaching experience of 50+ years, spanning across 10+ countries in 3 continents, our instructors are some of the best in the industry. Though you cannot buy that kind of experience, you can, however, benefit from it during your internship with Salty Endeavors. We also employ some of the most experienced Dive Masters in Cozumel, combining for over a century of experience and 40,000 dives!

The experience of our staff is unparalleled, and we are ready to share this experience and knowledge with you. You will work hand in hand with our Instructors and Divemasters, and we will quickly make you feel like one more member of our dive family.

Our goal is not simply that you get your certification: We want to prepare you so, as soon as you finish your training, you have the experience and confidence necessary to find a job as a Divemaster anywhere in the world. The Divemaster Internship will take you from being a recreational scuba diver to a fully employable scuba diving professional. Now isn’t that a nice choice to have?

As a fast-paced dive center where we teach and dive in small groups, we provide you an excellent balance between classroom and water, between tuning up your dive skills, assisting on courses and guiding full boats of certified divers. A combination of projects and workshops round out the education and internship.

Anyone can get a Divemaster certification, but not everyone has the same experience and knowledge after completing the course. We help you to get that extra experience to make a difference. When looking for your first job as a Divemaster after the course is completed, we want you to feel like if it were not the first time working; like if you had been working as a divemaster before.

We teach the full spectrum of SSI ecological courses included in your internship. We believe a good Divemaster also has a mastery of the environment of which they work. Your clients are going to ask you questions about the envirnment after every dive. This is one more step in your preparation that most internships forget about.

We offer you a path where you can build a career out of diving if you wish to, like we did! Start your professional career underwater as a true professional!

In the event you need to leave for an emergency of any sort, we can reschedule missed days for future classes.

No. There are very specific objectives which must be met in order for you to earn your Divemaster certification. Failure to meet any objective is cause for not processing a certification.
