SSI Dive Guide

The SSI Dive Guide certification is essentially a condensed and shortened version of the professional Divemaster program – without going full Pro. This is a great program for anyone wanting to take their dive training to the next level, but does not have 3 – 10 weeks to devote to the full internship.

The SSI Dive Guide program is ISO Certified (ISO 24801-3) and provides candidates with the knowledge and training necessary to supervise and guide certified divers on recreational scuba dives. This is not a professional-level certification.

Benefits of Completing the Dive Guide Certification

When you complete the Dive Guide certification with Salty Endeavors you are bridging a gap between a recreational scuba diver and becoming a Professional Scuba Diver. You’ll begin your foundation for giving dive briefings, doing site evaluations, and leading dives – just like our Pros do! The SSI Dive Guide program provides candidates with the knowledge and training necessary to supervise and guide
certified divers on recreational scuba dives.
