Notes: Mild clear waters to introduce Dawna and Nathan to Cozumel. They are here for a week, so we’ll get to show some more! Montanes is a great welcome to Cozumel – gentle current, not too deep, and plenty of marine life.

Key Animals: Juvenile Jack knife, Slipper lobster, Peacock Flounder
Visibility: 100+ feet
Notes: It was Scott’s final dive of the trip so we took a relaxing dive at Yucab where I stopped to admire a big slipper lobster. Also found a peacock flounder in the sand playing around. It is probably time for a haircut since it looked like Sargasso weed to a Bermuda chub that decided to take a bite of it on the safety stop!
