Dive One
Site: Santa Maria
Max Depth: 100+ feet
Dive Time: 51 minutes
Key Animals: Eagle Ray, Green moray
Weather: Another beautiful day!
Visibility: 100+ feet
Water Temp: 80 degrees
Notes: Afternoon dives are so nice and relaxing, not many divers in Santa María reef, shallow to begin with a week of adventure with Miss Tanya and Bruce. 30ft of water is enough to see a green moray swimming free, after a 10 minute we reached the wall, spectacular seascape, deep blue water west, colorful reef east, heading north along with gentle current, don’t know where to look, need more eyes to capture that many fish! We are ready to surface after 45 minutes underwater a magnificent eagle ray appear just to say good bye to the first dive….
It is always a blessing to dig your toes on the white soft sand while enjoying the ocean breeze and those awesome flavors of tropical fruit as pineapple and mangoes….
Ready for second dive? Yes Sir!
Dive Two
Site: Tormentos
Max Depth: 100+ feet
Dive Time: 50 minutes
Key Animals: Nurse Shark
Weather: Still awesome
Visibility: 80 feet
Water Temp: 80 degrees
Notes: Tormentos reef here we go! Only 50 feet of crystal clear water is awaiting for us, as we descend, a sea turtle welcomed us, seems like she is saying hello when the fins are moving. Few minutes later a couple of lobsters poses for the pictures, reef looks so colorful an healthy in this spot,it is just like i dreamed…
This nurse shark shows and teach us how to be streamlined while swimming close to the bottom, it’s just amazing how they barely touch the sandy bottom with their fin tips! 50 minutes of bottom time just fly when you are having that much fun, but well…we will try again tomorrow…
